Woodhaven Lodge is a full log home built in 2016 with a complete refresh and minor remodel in 2022. It was named Woodhaven because of the serene wooded surroundings.
Exterior
Relax on the private wraparound deck without another cabin or structure in sight. Enjoy a meal followed by drinks and conversations by the outdoor fireplace facing the woods or take a soak in the hot tub on the lower level patio. There is enough room for the entire group to comfortably enjoy the deck without feeling crowded, and a set of binoculars and steering wheel to spark imaginative play for the little ones.
Interior
A floor to ceiling stone fireplace is the focal point of the open format main floor with comfortable couches and seating areas throughout.
The large fully outfitted kitchen with a wrap around counter and dining table seats 14 + 2 in highchairs.
The loft is a perfect place for gathering for board games and conversations or just enjoying the natural beauty of a log home with vaulted wood beam ceilings (no drywall here!) Futon converts into a full size bed. Baby gate at the top of the stairs.
Head to the lower level to test your competitive side in our fully loaded game room complete with NBA Jam arcade game, foosball table, pool table, a large flat screen with Satellite TV and Blu-Ray/DVD player, and even a wet bar with a mini fridge. Couch converts to a Queen size bed.
Sleeping accommodations for 16 people
The main level has a King bed with a closet and seating area offering a quiet escape from the group if needed.
The second level boasts a King bedroom and Queen bedroom which are family oriented. In each of these is a closet and a twin bunk bed with no rise bottom bunks safe for children as young as two. The upper bunk is rated for 400lbs so sturdy enough for an adult or a teenager as well. There is a full size futon in the loft, and a baby gate at the top of the stairs.
The lower level has a spacious King bedroom with closet, as well as a Queen sleeper sofa out by the TV.
Each floor has a full bathroom
Just off the master bedroom on the main floor is a walk-in natural stone shower with double vanity.
The second level has a newly installed shower/tub combination located between the loft and bedrooms.
The lower level has a smaller walk-in natural stone shower located between the bedroom and back patio.
Access
The property is set back from the road on a gravel drive that ends at a large flat parking area. The driveway is easily traversed in a two wheel sedan in all but the most inclement snow storms. No need for hair raising 4x4 switchbacks here.
